Arsenal's Rosicky hopeful over injury

Soccer Betting Lines

01/19/2009 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky does not believe it will be long until he is back to full fitness and making his return to the starting lineup.

The Czech Republic international has been out of action since suffering a serious hamstring injury 12 months ago.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is refusing to put a timescale on Rosicky's return, but the player himself has hinted that he is now closing in on a return to action.

"Everyone surely knows that I am not in my ideal state of mind, the one I used to be in when I was in Arsenal's starting lineup two or three times a week," he told his official website.

"Now I am playing a different game. I have been working hard every single day and want to be back soon. I need to be patient.

"I have to respect Arsenal management's decision not to comment on my state of health, as it's their choice and they have been doing their maximum to have me back in action.

"I am looking forward to when I will be able to say to the fans 'I am fit and going to play at the weekend'.

"I believe it will not be a long wait."
